I am the president and CFO of Deer Run Associates, a firm specializing in system and network connectivity and security solutions. I have been active in the high tech industry for over twenty years. I am a member Association of Writers & Writing Programs (AWP), and has served on the Board of Directors for several professional organizations.

Prior to founding Deer Run Associates, I held a variety of positions for companies in the Bay Area such as Ascend Communications, Esker Inc., Netopia (formerly Farallon Computing), and Sybase. Additionally, I was a principal at Plus Five Computer Services.

I hold a Master of Fine Arts from the California College of Arts (formerly the California College of Arts and Crafts), a Bachelors of Arts degree in Liberal Studies from Holy Names College and a Certificate of Human Resources Management, University of California, Berkeley.

In 2003 I relocated myself and Deer Run to Eugene, Oregon. I am on the steering committee for the Lane Literary Guild and am the webmaster for several authors and organizations.

My poems have appeared or are forthcoming in Pemmican Press, Carnelian, Pearl Magazine, The Register Guard, Elysian Fields Quarterly, The San Francisco Reader and The Peralta Press. In the fall I'll be interning for CALYX. In December 2002 I was CCA's featured artist.
